Part 1
Refreshing the Core Experience
The challenge
While the company had a functional platform, it wasn’t working well. The interface felt outdated, and the workflow was confusing — especially for users looking to make quick currency conversions. What should’ve been a simple task became frustrating and unclear.

How I approach
1
Understand problem
Began by catching up with the client to unpack user pain points, business goals, and some extra features they wanted to add.

2
User flows & Wireframe
Focused on the client’s goals, I created simplified flows for a seamless experience, then turned them into wireframes to shape the layout and core features.

Final Design & Prototype
Once the layout was set, I applied the client’s design guidelines to create a clean, focused interface. I built an interactive prototype to test it with Maze and see how users navigated the new flow.

Part 2
Building Something New
How it worked
This part of the project focused on building a quick, step-by-step PayTo flow for Australian users. It needed to integrate seamlessly into checkout and allow users to set up recurring payments in just a few easy steps — clear, quick, and hassle-free.
